Volmary GmbH is an independent family business and a leading European plant breeding company.
Operating in the UK since 1961 and in Europe since 1923, they took over the Delamore site in 2016.
Production in the UK covers more than 20 acres and includes an extensive range of Bedding & Balcony Plants, Cut Flowers, Perennials, Shrubs, Climbers, Grasses, Vegetables, Herbs, Fruit Plants, Unrooted Cuttings and Seeds.
In order to offer customers a high-quality assortment of flowers and vegetables, they are tested at the Volmary Plant Breeding and Information Centre, located in Münster, Germany. All new breeds are examined for several years in our greenhouses and in our test fields. Here their suitability for outdoor and bed plantings is also researched. Cultivation recommendations are the result of intensive variety tests.
